Salva La Bahía

(2025)

On the northern coast of Fuerteventura, Corralejo Bay has long been valued for its unique marine environment and ideal conditions for water sports – a place that draws visitors from around the world and sustains a local, ocean-based economy. Plans for an industrial dock threaten to cause irreversible damage, putting this natural treasure at serious risk. In response, the local community rises to defend the bay. Through the voices of surfers, fishermen, and marine biologists, this story becomes a reflection on belonging, resistance, and the fragile balance between progress and preservation – and a call to protect what still can be saved.
